The Management of MACRESAC, S.A. intended by disseminating quality, safety and environment policy, recognize that the quality, safety and the environment are a priority within the company and assumes full responsibility for the quality of the product offered and the Environment, for it unifies the objectives of the template to ensure proper management of the Quality System, Safety and Environment. On the other hand, the company enters full adoption of the GROUP’s Guidelines in relation to the principles of circular economy, sustainability and ESG 2030 (Environment, social and Governance).

Our efforts will focus on the following points:

1.- LAW-  The Company policy includes a commitment to comply with the laws, regulations and relevant regulations and other requirements subscribed by the organization, that is, the company will ensure compliance with the law governing it existing and future applicable.

Furthermore, the Company is in compliance with customer requirements and all others that the organization subscribe of voluntary form, including a commitment in the improvement of the conditions of work and the protection of the labor health of the workers, and a constant improvement of the management and the fulfillment of the Safety and Health of the Workers.

2.- ORGANIZATION-  Provide a structure and resources to develop the SGCA, SGIA and implemented EMS and measure and review the objectives and targets set. The company shall establish and maintain a safety and SGCA and EMS, and this will be documented in all its aspects to demonstrate operation and monitoring.

3.- ACTIVITIES-  This policy is appropriate to the nature and the environmental impact of the services and activities of MACRESAC, S.A., ensuring the purpose of the organization in terms of services and products offered and the protection of the environment and the conservation of natural resources.

For this, the company will aim to:

• Remove, reduce, reuse and recycle all forms of waste, discharge, or emission to generate and make effective use of materials and resources. Similarly to eliminate or reduce any possible deviations and detect, and make effective use of the elements of management system in place.

• Assess risks and food safety/quality hazards, controlling and minimizing them at all times, through the effective implementation of HACCP and Quality/Environment risk analysis

• Being aware that operates in the food chain and undertakes to inform its customers and consumers on any matter relating to food security might affect them.

4.- CUSTOMER SATISFACTION-For this, the company will put the efforts to eliminate, reduce all the produced and detected deviations, and to made an effective use of the elements of the implemented Management System, through the correct identification of the specified requirements of the customers in order to comply with the defined satisfaction index defined in the objectives of this period, as well as the expectations of them founded during the relationship maintained by MACRESAC SA with each of the customers in supplying the requested product.

5.- CONTINOUS IMPROVEMENT- will promote continuous improvement of processes, products and services within the scope of their relationship with the Quality, Safety and Environment assessed in advance the impact of any new development on them, continuing the effort development and implementation of technologies to reduce pollution in order to minimize the impact of the activities of plants and offices in the environment and in the development and implementation of the tools needed to improve the service, with minimize nonconformities in the development of activities by MACRESAC, S.A. This will take Corrective and Preventive Action to Prevent, prevent the occurrence or recurrence of defects during the development of the service.

6.- DISSEMINATION- disseminate, monitor and require instructions and Actions outlined in the Procedures Manuals are known and   respected   to   ensure   proper   application   of   the   principles   of   the   Policy. MACRESAC, SA promote the dissemination of best practices and environmental quality in all areas in which participation or access, working and training their own employees to improve the activities thereof and environmental concerns, making them aware that the final destination of processed products is food contact and the impact it can have on consumer health.

The company will promote the internal and external communication to all the levels between areas and companies, which it allows to transmit the efforts to the personnel and to the market. In the same way, it will bear in mind the internal and external relations, with the parts involved in order to orientate the activities to satisfy his needs.

7.- SYSTEM EVALUATION- The edition of this Policy is aimed at the nearest pool our efforts in achieving the objectives for which establish procedures for setting objectives and targets, and for the review of these and of the own policy in order to maintain its effectiveness and adapt to the changing environment.

The company is committed to contribute to the minimization of pellets in the marine environment through the Operation Clean Sweep (OCS) program. To do this, it maintains the Risk Analysis system that guarantees the correct IDENTIFICATION AND VALUATION OF LOSSES OF PELLETS.

8.- POLLUTION PREVENTION- The company will identify and seek to reduce significant environmental impacts resulting from the processes and operations carried out by it and to prevent pollution.

9.- LIABILITY –All employees MACRESAC, SA be involved in the management of the quality, safety and environmental performance of the company, which will also be a mechanism to foster their sense of responsibility in this field.

10.- COMUNICATION- encourage external communication both with suppliers and customers, as with health authorities. both transmit own concerns and the needs of its customers in food safety.

Fulfilling the requirements and expectations of the market, constitutive parts and involved parts and, supporting the strategic management of the company and treating that this Policy of Quality is communicated, understood and accepted by the personnel and by the Management committee of MACRESAC, S.A.., and is available for the involved pertinent parts.

The adoption of this policy is a functional requirement in any aspect of the activity MACRESAC, S.A., with the achievement of these points supported by the implementation of a Quality Management System and Environmental meeting the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 22000.

The successful implementation of this policy is founded on individual concern and involvement of all employees under the control of the Management.
